Classic fifties colour palette and some endearing illustrations from this children’s singing book printed in 1969. It was first printed in 1962 and based on an American edition from 1954, although it does look like they may have kept some of the original 1950’s aesthetic.
Printed by George G Harrap and Co Ltd in London and found in a charity shop in Wellington, Shropshire. The man deliberated over the price for a while and then sternly told me it had to be 30p – a bargain piece of vintage illustrative wonder : )
